This site is being used to facilitate my research into the use of Open Source in K12 environments, and to help promote Open Source solutions in schools. As I develop more of an understanding of issues and solutions, the site and context of the site may change.
I encourage you to register. I will share my knowledge and experience as much as possible, and hope that you do the same, by sharing your ideas, asking interesting questions, and suggesting interesting areas of application, where you think open source can save schools time and money, as well as enhance the education of our youth.
Registration allows you to take part in forum discussions, and add web links to interesting open source tools and projects that may have applications in K12.
Based on time and requirements, I may be able to help local schools get started with interesting open source projects. For larger projects and consulting I may charge a nominal consulting fee.
